Where are you located?
I am located in beautiful Collingwood, Ontario, the heart of a four-season recreation area on the southern shore of Georgian Bay.
Can I pick up the item(s) that I have purchased?
Yes, once the sale has been completed, we an arrange a mutually-convenient time for pickup.
How is shipping handled?
Becuase the cost to ship an item can vary greatly from item to item, I will confirm the cost to you before finalizing a sale. Things such as weight, size, destination, what tracking requirements you may have, and your required timing of delivery can all affect the total cost of shipping.
How can I pay for what I buy?
You can pay by Interac e-Transfer, cheque, and we still accept cash!
What finish(es) do you put on the items?
I use high-quality finishes selected for the intended use of each piece. Finishes may include oils, waxes, friction polishes, or durable protective coatings. All finishes are food grade. Most items have multiple coats of a wax / oil finish that can be reapplied after years of wear.
Can I give you wood to use?
I will consider this, and will need to first examine the wood to see if it is able to used. Things such as condition, type, and size need to be considered before I can give final answer.
What types of wood do you use?
I work with a variety of domestic and exotic hardwoods. The wood species used for each item is listed in the product description whenever possible.
How should I care for my wooden item?
Avoid prolonged exposure to water, direct sunlight, and extreme temperature changes. Hand wash only if applicable, and never place wooden items in a dishwasher.
Can I request a custom piece?
Yes. I welcome custom orders. If you have a specific size, wood species, design, or purpose in mind, please contact me to discuss your project.
Can you engrave or personalize an item?
Depending on the project, personalization such as names, dates, or special messages may be available. Contact me for details.
Do you make wedding, corporate, or gift orders?
Yes. I can often accommodate larger orders for weddings, corporate gifts, retirement gifts, awards, and special occasions.
